Yes due to bootloader unlocking your phone does not pass the safetynet check So whatsapp says your phone is not secure and private to run There are two solutions magisk modules to pass safetynet check or lock the bootloader

idk about the official release but on Xiaomi eu not 48h I went back to hyperos 1 because it was much worse the phone was less smooth and the control center animation was ridiculously slow Among other issues
