This is great - my old mid 2011 Mac hard drive crashed so had to put in a new ssd - tried to load Microsoft 365 only to find that wouldn't run on macOS High Sierra - found your video and within 10 minutes I've now downloaded / installed and am happily using the apps again - well done great video.

Hey Nino, thanks for your comment. Please see my pinned comment, which explains the situation. These programs require an account with access to Microsoft 365, so that you can use it. This solution does not grant you free access to Microsoft 365. Maybe check out Libre Office or Google Docs for free alternatives

Hey Vinicius, thanks for your comment. You do need an account with access to Microsoft 365 to use these programs fully. You can get that through their subscription service or possibly your employer or educational institution can get you access. If that does not work, consider checking out free alternatives like Google Docs or Libre Office :)

I am glad to hear that the download worked well for you, but to activate the program and fully use the features you will have to log into your Microsoft account where Microsoft 365 is activated. You can find out how to activate the subscription model via the official Microsoft website. Maybe your employer or educational institution has an account available with the Microsoft 365 subscription! Really hope this helped

Hey Irfan, thanks for your comment. Since you have a 2013 model you should be able to upgrade your OS to High Sierra and it should work with that operating system. Video Tutorials on how to upgrade your OS can be found relatively easily on youtube :)

I downloaded, it's read only, i bought a license but when trying to activate it says "no license found". Support said with older unsupported devices (im on High Sierra 10.13.6) buying new licensing is hit or miss. Sometime it works, sometimes it does not. Hey, unfortunately this solution does not enable free access to office. You need access to Microsoft 365. If you are looking to get the functionality for free I can only recommend to check out alternatives likes Google Docs or Libre Office. I use them personally

Hey Inemuyo, I understand your issue and hope you can make progress here. I did not confirm this method, but want to suggest some ways on moving forward. This video seems to show a successful method on installing CorelDraw for free on a different macOS version kzbin.info/www/bejne/hafHZ2ZjbM6SY6c . If that installation does not work on High Sierra, you can possibly try this video to upgrade your macOS version to Catalina. It works fine. OneDrive requires at least macOS Mojave so it doesn't work on High Sierra but at least the other apps work

hi my macbook pro (mid 2012) is currently running High Sierra - iOS 10.13.6 (17G14033) I was able to get the download and got through all the way to the installation but it keeps getting stuck/not completing once it is at the 'running package scripts' part of the installation. I tried to test downloading it in safe mode and also via another user on the same laptop but it does the same thing on each one. Any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix it?

Your hardware and OS specs are looking normal and many people with similar specs reported everything to be working. I would recommend to properly restart the computer and maybe try the installation a few more times. If it still does not work afterwards, please get back to me in this comment section and we can see about further steps

Hey Sayed, you do need a microsoft 365 subscription to fully utilize the programs I am afraid. This is not a method for gaining access to the programs for free. Hope you can figure out a solution for yourself! More Info is here: www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365?rtc=1

Hey Jarolis, unfortunately it seems like OneDrive is having issues with this installation method. Unfortunately I do not have a MacBook with High Sierra anymore, otherwise I would have loved to find a solution for you. Maybe a solution is out there on youtube, but using the web-version of one drive should definitely be a possibility!

I got the same problem with Microsoft one drive. I installed one drive already and tried to launch one drive program first time and onedrive no respond and retry to launch again the onedrive popup onedrive will work on 10.14 Mojave. Do you have any suggestion to solve this problem.
