Next time you compress your spring use metal clothes hangers twist around the springs to keep them compressed.

If ur installing lift cups on front as well do those also go to bottom of of coil springs or would they set on top

I was with you on the front lift. But I just can't accept that rear lift. Maybe because I'm 77 and like comfort but squeezing those rear springs up 3" seems like it would give a harsher ride since the spring is being compressed halfway even before hitting any bumps in the road. Plus, with those weird angles of the spring and swing arm I would be afraid that hitting a pothole would cause the spring to pop off and drop your rear suspension. I was just looking on Strutmasters and I would be interested in changing over from that air suspension to a regular coil over shock system. A lot less complexity by getting rid of that air system. But, you young guys don't care much about ride quality. It's all about looks. Me, I like big fat air filled tires not those narrow hard as a rock tires that harken back to the days of stagecoach wheels.

My solution is to get a 2nd car specifically for fat tires, I put 20 inch rims on my buick century, and my tires are 255/30r20

@@marcz239 I'm now 79 and getting tired of working on vehicles. I just rebuilt my 1994 F-150 with all new brakes, hardware and other necessities to pass inspection. Whew, glad that's over. I've still got my 1965 Ford Galaxie and finding that I don't seem to have any enthusiasm to finish that up. Did all the brakes on that, too, and had the transmission rebuilt. But I always seem to go back to my 2007 Honda Odyssey when I go anywhere. It's so comfy and it alerts me when I forget to turn the lights off or leave the keys in the ignition. Those older cars are useless like that. At 79, I need reminders.

You didn't need to add the cups to the rear. All you needed was a longer bar for the ELC and it would have raised the car.

Use zip ties if it allows you to use them because zip ties can break if you use the cheap ones

Man I liked this whole idea until you said bigger than 20s. I want 15s but to run 33s. Looking to lift it for ralley.
