Btw if your monitor resolution is lower than your VR Headset quality and you extend the displays then windows will try to match the resolution of your monitor to your headset which may make your resolution worse than it could be for certain people :D

Okay. I will try to explain this the best way i can... For some reason, the second it goes to boot up SteamVR, after doing everything you told us, the VR screen goes black, and the SteamVR window, shoes up on the monitor screen. and i have no idea how to fix it. i dont have the monnitor's HDMI cable plugged in the PSVR Powerbox, i have it connected to my pc. would that be the problem? if not, would you know another reason why it would do that?

steam vr i saying at the bottom of the screen "SteamVR has detected your headset running as a monitor. For best results, please switch to Direct Display Mode" and when I move the headset it moves the screen but the headset says it has no HDMI

the only issue is You need a 2nd hdmi or DP cable to see what are you doing when switching the VR headset because with one cable you can't even configure

My PC isn't showing two displays. The headset is working perfectly fine, and I can see what's on my monitor, but there's no way for me to adjust any display settings since it's only detecting one display. Any idea why this is happening? I only have one HDMI port on my pc, so I ran the monitor cord through the PSVR box, then the PSVR cord to the computer. Could that be the problem?

Yeah, that's a problem. Connect your monitor to your pc through a VGA connector, if you only have one HDMI port. Leave the HDMI Slot for the PSVR BOX.

For you monitor you need to get hdmi to vga, so you can plug it in your computer. Hdmi in monitor, vga in your computer

If you have a HDMI port on your GPU, make sure your insert your hdmi to it instead of the Motherboard one. Also, have you checked the settings? Maybe it already on duplicate displays. MOST IMPORTANTLY, its OK if you have "xusb" icon on your headset. Just press Start on Trinus and it will start calibrating and the icon will disappear.

For some reason, Windows 10 is not detecting it as another display. However I do not have the x usb issue. I tried continuing on and I get stuck on the room setup. The display for windows itself is shoved mainly in the left eye, however the room setup space looks normal. But I can’t select anything. Just says “Room Setup” with a button underneath saying “Next Up” and I have to restart my PC cause I can’t select anything.

If you're unable to see another display, it might be because of a faulty hdmi cable, faulty psvr box or faulty hdmi ports on each end. But before doing anything, you should try to update your dusplay drivers.
