Install Raspberry OS Raspbian image on ESXI - Bookworm and above

Thanks for posting the steps to setup a virtual Bookworm machine. I followed all of your instructions but at the end when my VM reboots, I only get the UEFI FIrmware Settings boot option; Debian GNU/Linux not listed. Any suggestions?

Can it be done with an image of a running instance ?

I would look into Proxmox, I've found it works better on Pi over ESXi.
