Hi. Great instructional video. I have a question though, I installed NordicStart remotestart and idatalink(same as yours) in 2008 Outlander, so it is almost the same process but less wires to connect as mine is Type 4 installation. But maybe you may have an idea 1) why it only unlocks Driver's door even if i press twice on unlock key? 2) Does yours remote start even if the module is disarmed? mine autostarts all the time armed or disarmed. I didn't use a relay as it is only for anti-grind.

thank you sooooooo much the instructions on the bypass module is brain numbing when it doesn't work and not sure how the proper way is... whats your fail rate on the quick taps? should use some split loom and follow a factory wire for your tach for cleaner professional look.

Thanks! The data mode is only for the remote start module, RS2-G3, to communicate with the transponder bypass module, ADS ALCA.

@@DarkDragonWing The idatalink wiring diagram you show us at 5:23 on this video, that said the solid red and the broken black lines are "Not Required In Data Mode" the Tachometer and lock/unlock wires show it connected to between Remote Starter and Bypass Module, instead, you hooked them directly to the vehicle, that's what make me confused, well....thanks for the great video and you have gain another subscriber.

@@thavonsaysithideth4084 Ohh. The "Not Required In Data Mode" is only for the communication between the remote starter module and the bypass module. Remember that the remote starter is its own thing and the bypass module is just an add-on to the remote starter module. The Tach wire needs to be connected to the remote starter module as a default. Now, whether you connect the Tach wire to the bypass module as well is depending on if you use the Data Mode or not.

Hey there, I installed the crimperstopper remote starter by myself with a bypass. The remote starter works well. But it will burn the interior light fuse everytimes if I use it. No, the remote starter module does not need to be pre-programmed to any specific car. The only thing that needs pre-programmed is the bypass module.
