Hi i want some guidance from you is this right approach to download readymade template from any site for our projects? or we should also build it from scratch if yes then how? actually i'm learning django from some months and my aim is to be backend dev so i only focusing more on django.. so should we also be good in frontend part like building designing template in backend dev or just focus on backend??

Cool video man. Do you usually load a new js file for each page? Will you go over how JavaScript is used in a Django application?

If you need javascript for something, then yes you'd load in onto the page. If not, no. There is no such thing as "JavaScript in a Django App", it's just Javascript used in the way it's used anywhere (ie, there's nothing different about using JS in Django than in any other web technology). We've already seen in this video how to use it (add your javascript to the static directory, add a reference to it at the bottom of the page). That's all there is to it...

why my website still a mess, unlike yours after applying the position of the static files

Same issue, updated the urls for all static files but still the homepage doesn't look proper as it should be. Even tried restarting the server multiple times but n change.

It's because you did something wrong...I can't guess what... review the videos and see. Check that the directory is in the right place, restart your server, check the code.

I also had the same thing but I solved it you just have to copy assets ,CSS and JS to your static folder.If still the same problem then watch videos of external CSS and you will know the problem.@@shikhxr24

My home.html didnt style correctly, but thats because i had duplicated the ending '%}'. Hope this helps someone using VSC.
