Smooth idea. I purchased just the Hard wire kit without a fuse. Three wires labeled ACC Battery and ground. Would I just tap the ACC into the Always on and battery into the hot?

ACC should connect to 12Volts that turns on and off with the car’s engine. Battery connects to the 12Volts that is always on. You’d only use the battery cable if you want to use a “parking mode” that keeps your camera on while the engine is off.
