installing was not possible from USB-A but was necessary to done from micro USB (with reduction). For linux mint xfce I have setup partitions this way: mmcblk1p1 - EFI - 256MB mmcblk1p2 - ext2 - 256MB mount as /boot mmcblk1p3 - ext4 - 47.5GB mount as / mmcblk1p4 - swap - rest of space, but not less than 2GB install the "device for bootloader installation" should be the EFI partition. In BIOS, go to "Boot" and re-enable Secure Boot, then go to "Security" and select "Select an UEFI file as trusted for executing." From the provided menu, navigate through HDD1\EFI\ubuntu and choose "grubia32.efi" then give it a name in the next prompt (whatever name you want -- it'll only show up in BIOS) then click OK.

I noticed you changed the boot order to USB first. If you go f12 at first, cant you just choose the USB Drive to boot from without changing the order?

[Solucionado] Hola, estoy intentando hacer una instalación nueva, pero el equipo no está reconociendo el pendrive donde está el instalador del W10 ( probado en otros equipos) aunque si reconoce el pendrive donde guarde hace algunos años el recuperador de window8 con el que venía originalmente ( que luego se actualizó a W8.5) ayuda please. Es que debo crear otro usb de arranque distinto ? alguna descarga especial para este equipo del S.O (acer Aspire Swithc 10 E )

@@jesusparedesv6351 si :) Tuve que actualizar la bios. La actualización la descargué de la misma pagina de Acer. Pero de Acer España, porque la de Chile no me dejaba x.x En la misma página está un pack con todos los drivers para W10

@@jesusparedesv6351 un detalle si, no pude instalar S.O. de x64 aunque el procesador se supone es de 64. Instalé Windows10 de x32. Ps. Quedo mucho más ligero que con W8.1 x32. Además use el USB que viene en el teclado sin problema. Aunque habia comprado el adaptador para el usb del costado. Preferí hacer la instalacion con el equipo conectado a la corriente. Suerte

@@frankvramos4956 Hola, debes ir a la página del fabricante. Descargas el archivo de BIOS actualizado, lo pones en un pendrive y lo conectas a tu pc y sigues los pasos. Son similares pero dependerá del fabricante la ultima BIOS disponible. Ahora, si necesitas recuperar datos de un windows al que no puedes entrar, existen distintas formas de hacerlo, la más simple creo, es una instalacion nueva, sin borrar datos, buscar la carpeta del Windows anterior y sacar los datos desde ahí
