If you have to remove a piece during installation, spray both sides again before reinstalling. If you don’t want to purchase something as pricey as Ride Wrap to redo the top section (or if they don’t send a replacement strip), buy 4” wide 3M protective film roll and custom cut it to the shape of your top tube to replace that top section with the spec. I used it for a few bike frames and worked well.

I’ve used 3M, I agree it works well! 🤘🏽

I had trouble with one piece of a custom kit. It was my screw up but ride wrap sent me a free replacement piece anyway. I love Ride Wrap. Ive done two bikes with great results. Leave yourself lots of time. Use lots of spray solution - soak the wrap and the bike. Start applying from the middle of the piece along its length first, then lay inch by inch from the centre outward. Need it to stop sliding or to get a corner edge to stick- use isopropyl alcohol. Use the hair dryer. Do the chainstays first - you wont see youre mistakes and you do get better.

With the bigger pieces I use more solution to allow for relocation/movement. And if you ever remove it, best to add more solution. Key is to have a clean working environment and clean/non-oily hands.

I probably should have added more solution then after I pulled that top piece Off. That was the downfall, as well as an imperfection in the wrap.

I’ve had better installation luck with invis, but it is not as thick and shipping cost to USA is a bit prohibitive.

Did mine yesterday ! Took a while but it went on really well 👍 only got the covered pack as the taylored looked like a complete ball ache 😂 trying to find some 3m or similar in matt (can't seen to find it in matt!) To finish a few bits . I found the solution foamed a touch which actually added bubbles that were tricky ! I put muc-off film on my forks and yiu only use water for that , I must say it went on lots better.

I’ll have to look into the muc-off

hair dryer for the air bubbles. They also tend to work themselves out overtime anyway

Air bubbles would have been easier by peeling it back and spraying more solution !! Start again

Naww. They went away

Maybe in the moment it would have been better.

Hated every step in the process… Way to expensive for the trouble of applying that crap

Don't buy ridewrap. It's a waste of money. The application process is pure frustration and the results aren't great. There are way better products for cheaper.
