I'm surprised you didn't put a custom tank pad to cushion it alittle from the stand. Also how come you didn't cure the rock first before adding to the tank once it's ready to be cycled? It seems like the tank is in the kitchen. Aren't you worried that the gas stove and what ever else you might be burning will go into the air and make its way into the water? I had a blue and gold macaw die this way from cooking inhalation he was about 20ft from the stove and still got killed even tho I used an exhaust system to pull cooking smoke out. Not sure if it's effects fish as well.

These tanks come with their own padding on the top of the cabinet. We don’t need to cure dry (fake) live rock. I’ve never had problems with kitchen fumes, but then I’ve never kept birds, just fish. Cam

What a beautiful tank and well designed. But, with a bare bottom and fake rock; a beautiful tank will probably have a long ugly stage due to a lack of biome. For over 5k, I think I’d have spent a few hundred for some live rock and sand

Not if it’s hard up against the door. I usually leave about a foot of space between the door and the chiller so you can still open the door. Cam

It probably wasn’t quite $10k, and there were other things in the setup. The price of marine setups does sometimes shock people more familiar with freshwater setups, but the eventual effect you can achieve is well worth the initial cost😊

The Cade is so good - I think they have a frag - wonder how it's priced compared to the Waterbox. The float valve ATO and especially the cable management are total winners for me. I do like the dims on the new waterbox frag (especially the 3 foot one). After this if I ever move back to Oz the Cade will be on my list ;)
