Thanks for the relaxing, thorough walk-through! A plumber wanted to charge me $495 CAD, so I thought I’d watch some videos to see if I can do it myself. I’m going to remove my soap dispenser, so I don’t have to drill a hole. Wish me luck! Thanks again! I feel confident I can do it now 💪🏻

Just installed the waterdrop G3 600 and had a hell of a time getting the input feed line into the unit just like you at 7:17 . In case anyone else ran into it, you probably need to push a bit harder and make sure the fitting is flat against the plate and not raised.

Do you need to drill a new hole for the faucet or can you use the hole for the soap dispenser hole?

You could use the soap dispenser hole as long as it’s at least 1”.

Yes it can, where it plugs into the back is much smaller than the 3 prong plug

What is the TDS after the remineralization filter?

I’m not sure, I never got a tds to check.

@@crowdedtombs it takes out everything good as well as the bad. I added a remineralization filter after the initial install. The one I used is linked in the description. I’ll see about making a short of the install and add to the channel.
