Great video thanks. Please help though I am doing an identical job but cannot find the chrome fitting that you are using between the lock shield and the towel rail. If I screw the T directly in I have little control of the position the T ends up in. The fitting you show is the solution to that, so where do you source these fitting from?

Very good video. A question, I don't have water to it, I was going to buy an electric one that can be adapted to have an element. How do I top the water up if there's no pipe work seeing as the holes are in the bottom. Or is this just silly, should I get an electric one instead.

Hi. Can the MOA element enter on the TRV side instead of the lockshield valve side?

We recommend installing the heating element on the return side due to the temperature of the heating medium during the heating season. This temperature must not exceed 82 °C. Additionally, considering the variety of fuels (coal, pellets, gas), while gas remains temperature-stable, coal and pellets tend to have a temperature spike above the recommended 82°C, which could lead to thermal fuse damage. Whether there is a thermostatic head or another type of valve on the return side does not bear significance in this context.
