Do you need planning/building control approval for your system?

Did you seal in the insulation board around the perimeter? What are you using as the internal vapor barrier? Did you expanding foam around the insulation cut outs for the tie bars?

Hi Richard, this was a installation done by one of our clients, JPB Services. Yes I can confirm he sealed the insulation into the roof using expanding foam, the internal vapour barrier was created using foil backed plasterboards. All gaps in the the roof was filled with expanding foam prior to boards the internal roof. JPB Services, choose not to install the Eaves guard on this roof system, but it was supplied in our roof kit. You seem to have missed out a whole important part of the work. One minutes you're dismantled the old roof and the next minute your installing insulation on a new roof / What happened in between??

The conservatory was never designed to take all the extra weight. My company has repaired so many that have started to collapse.
