Very good job Bob. Much more information than the manufacturers or resellers provided. Especially on the adjustments. Hope you and the family are having a great holiday season.

Received my backrest today and wondered about making it removable. Thanks for your video and I will be doing likewise. Thanks from the west panhandle. My daughter goes to FSU, maybe we'll cross paths someday.

Very detailed and informative video. Thanks.. :) In the trunk there is a 2 USB outlet that Coach Vic can plug here cell phone into as long as you get a long USB cable.

Hey Coach Great video and I would like to add one more thing for back rest. Open back trunk and loosen two top screws for back rest. Take out three back rest screws and remove back rest for passenger. This well allow the spyder ryders to have easy access to back hinge bolts for removing and installing seat together. Just a extra step I learned watching this video. Ride Safe !

I put one of these on my 2019 RT, I have the screws holding the seat in a little tighter so it takes a little effort to remove, but is easy enough. Was very easy to install. Keep up the good work Bob

What a great vlog...! All your the accessories have been needed to keep you both comfortable and safe, 12 hours in the saddle that's hard core. Enjoy the trip as much as we enjoy watching you both. Thanks for letting use into your lifes. Tez WA.

Love oks great Bob, I was wondering if there was a backrest for the driver. I had a nice set up on my Valkyrie where the back rest would mount in the front seat or back for the passenger. I had Corbin saddles front and rear for me and my wife. If she wasn’t with me the back rest would just pull out of the back seat and slide in the drivers seat. Both front and back seat had a Velcro cover over the hole when not in use. Mike Corbin makes some nice stuff, expensive but nice.

I plan to getting a spyder soon watch you sence I fond you got caught up on your channel, found out through you and others, that if you want to do any up grading your self you need to install magic mirrors on the bike! One of your tips is up the old parts in a bag mark it a long with any documention! Good Idea!, witch I plan to do! You and I think a like!

Another great one, When I open my email and see you posted something I think all right another thing for the bike. I save most of the so I can take a relook see. As for the phone holder I use a Bike Gripper. Works outstanding.

Good morning CoachBob3,well done video and may I offer a couple of suggestions:remove the passenger backrest it gives you more room in removing the seat and also use a power ratchet it does the job a lot quicker and enjoy your backrest especially on long trips.

You certainly will appreciate that backrest on your trip, especially on those 450+ mile days. I’m thinking about getting one for my 2020 RTL, but not ready to spend the money until my next long trip.

Edd Curry this was a last minute purchase for me. I was willing to do without in order to get Coach Vic’s needs met. She encouraged me to get something to make my trip better. I siezed the opportunity and ordered. I sure am glad I did. It is a great help. Hope you’re doing well brother. 👍😎👍

Put a custom ultimate seats on my rt with both driver and passenger backrests. It's also heated for driver and pillion separately. The backrest is truly easily removed from the topside. I can ride comfortably for 2 or 3 hours no problem, could not do that with the stock seat. Also for the sleeves they recommend some Vaseline on the outside of the sleeve so they don't drop out

Hey Bob, I just started watching your channel. When you do your long trips like 500 to 600 miles, how many times do you stop for gas on that journey? Also, have you put the bike on hilly terrains like steep hills so on and so forth. Great videos!
@CoachBob3
@CoachBob3 3 жыл бұрын
Our goal is to stop every 150 miles to gas up, stretch our legs and catch our breath. 600 becomes very doable in those kind of mileage breaks. Sometimes due to "geography" our stops could be a tad earlier or later. At 180 miles I am normally getting antsy about my fuel situation. We have been on some pretty steep grades. I will manually downshift and crank the throttle. Ofcouse ... gas mileage.. suffer accordingly. Thanks for watching.

I did have a motorcycle Endorsement, but I had a Stroke 2 years a go, got a new ID in. Ohio doesn’t have that anymore! Have to start from scratch, didn’t know I have to start over and I start over I can only ride a trike, that’s ok with me! Any training for trikes? I have not been on a trike before?

in Florida you have to have the MSF course like a 2 wheeler ..but you take it on a 3 wheeler. The Spyder is a quick learn... It is very easy to learn and simple to ride. You'll love getting in the wind again. God Bless...CB3
