Installation of Agam swimming pool liners

Lost of negative comments here. Shows none of you know what the material is and why this is a thing in the swimming pool industry. They give you a 10-20 year manufacture warranty on the liner. Once the seams are melted into place, the entire liners is one complete membrane, 100% waterproof (obviously when properly welded). The seam being off center is not an issue at all. If tiles were used at some point on the bottom they would have to be cut to fit, unless dimensions are perfect. Pebble, liner or Membrane, they all have imperfections one way or another. Once that pool is full, it's hard to see the seam, if at all. Fyi, if you have ever been to France, you have most likely seen this material. It's used to cover a lot of industrial building roofs and homes as well. This some very high quality material.

The ONLY practical use for this type of liner might be a pool like the person who hired me when I first started working on pools claimed to have built, and he showed me pictures of the pool, but he didn't say where the pool was located other than that it wasn't around here.He said that pool was a Vinyl Lined pool roughly 60 x 90 feet, but it was built with an ISLAND with a picnic table and BBQ Pit installed on the island and a bridge from one edge of the pool to the island.I could see how a liner like this MIGHT actually make sense to consider instead of a single-piece liner since that could be installed on site without having to remove the bridge or get the liner custom made including the island dimensions in the middle of the liner.But NO WAY can they convince me that this kind of liner would be a cost effective option to install in a standard rectangular or other typical shaped swimming pool.

Looks great, and I would guess that this is even better then those complete liner products that shrink and are stretched into place and seem to always come away from the wall. The marine grade caulk will hold up a long time we use this type of caulk for underground storage tank sumps where the lines come from underground into an inspection sump. These are required to remain dry inside and never leak because they are for testing and inspecting fuel lines and also for catching and detecting line leaks that would catch any leaking products into the sump instead of into the ground. The caulk holds up for over 50 years and it works without a doubt. I suspect it's a similar grade of caulk product that is made to seal wet or dry and doesn't shrink and will sticks to anything. Only question is where to buy this stuff ? I would have actually try this product if I could find out where to purchase it but I ended up re plastering because I could not find any of these vinyl rolls of pool liner anywhere in just a roll. Everyone wanted images and dimensions of the pool so they could make the liner for the pool and I just wanted to purchase rolls

Good idea! What about shrinkage after draining in two years? Does the bonding hold? Looks like patching would be a lot easier if there were a problem. I like the idea that there are no void areas under the liner. I love Innovation in the pool industry. This does seem to be labor intensive but the results are a better product

What do you do in 8 years when liner need replaced? And what about groundwater moving the floor foam? Built pools for 15 years. You obviously need a guy that knows how to trowel a bottom. Also if liner fails you are responsible. Doesn't seem like a bright business idea to me.

Now show how much more labor intensive it is to replace that liner compared to replacing a conventional vinyl liner in a pool with a beaded liner.I'd be almost willing to bet liner replacement cost including labor would be at least double, if not as much as quadruple cost to replace a beaded pool liner.

just the standard installation of this can't in anyway offset it possibly enough I'd imagine. unless all the rolls of materials here cost under 200 the extra labor alone would make a regular liner make more sense. I'm surprised any company would even think this would be a profitable product to produce.
