40:49, love your style of teaching, "just put a little bit of maskin tape" where the....so casual and no techinical gobbledegook. I teach the same way. I am a skilled carpenter with 40 yrs experience and I "dumb it down" whenever I'm explaining things to young guys who don't know anything so they can understand it. I also run a cnc machine and I HATE when you talk to machinists etc and they get all wrapped up in their lingo that you don't know what the hell they're saying. I've been involved in quite a bit of different trades and disciplines over the years and they ALL have their "lingo" that they live by. I'm currently setting up a large UV printer from Rainbow in China and their instructions are pathetic. "Plug in the usb cabo" WHERE? no pics, no instructions, nothing. It took me a freaking hour to find it and the only reason I found it was because of my experience building my cnc. I opened the access panel "ok, there's the stepper motor drivers, there's the interface board, there's the main board ok, the USB port has to be somewhere on this board. THERE it is, behind a freaking heat shield and wedged against a wiring raceway. I had to install it using 14" long surgical forceps because I couldn't get my hand in there. Test head. SEND PIC TO ENGINEER! what engineer? a random one out of the phone book? A local one I found through a google search? How about setting up an email address and listing that in the instructions? I used to write assembly manuals and theirs is the WORST one I have ever encountered.

@@Ezanity I have a rainbow printers 1016UV and at this point, it is nothing more than a space waster. It doesn't work for more than 3 days before it clogs the heads. Shortest it worked was 3 hrs. The manufacturer isn't any help, they keep spitballing nonsense. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM RAINBOW PRINTERS OUT OF CHINA!!! Wasted $20,000 CDN and 100's of man hours.

ive very sorry for the delay in replying but ive been struggling with health issues. did you sort your issue.it sounds like you had a watermark which is normally down to the usb/passwords.

My Wellprintexp program has white ink in channel 5, channel 6 then it cloge, my printer has 1 head.so, I would like to move white ink to channel 1 and 2 how can i setting them.

the quickest way for a reply on this would be to join our facebook page. in wellprint on the maintainance / basic settings tab the colour offset is on there where you can change what channel does.i would say though that if you only have 1 head then surely you would be best to unclog/replace the head as im sure you will need all the channels for colours too.

you can try "load ink" in the parameters tab. You'll find it on the right under the heading called "function". You should hear the pump running to "prime" the head. Don't leave it running because if it draws ink up it'll keep dumping it into the overflow container and drain your tanks. I'm setting up a new machine and I ran it, stopped and checked the overflow, then ran it again, checked.

i have tried to put this too the cloud before and the wellprint shows as a virus(it isnt but then defender will delete the file.)this could be your issue.i can try and compress it with winrar and then maybe try to add to a cloud or if you go across to our facebook page (the group name is in the description) then i could maybe grab a whatsapp number to send it on there.

Hi Mate, do you know if Maintop allows to generate Fotoba cut lines or generic dots for a Zund cutter?

I'll be honest I don't use maintop for anything other than converting the file format. Wouldn't you have a piece of software that comes with the cutter to do that sort of thing?

@@Ezanity Thanks for responding. I’m looking at a printer that’s not supported by my RIP. Manufacturer says it comes with Maintop. So researching capabilities cause their site is confusing. They mention a version for routing table so maybe it will generate the dots on the file. Would you mind checking and see if you notice on the menus or setting to add a cutter or router ? If it has it then it might have the capability to do what I need.

You can download straight from wellprint site however you need a security usb stick and also your printer needs to be compatible with it.if you can't find it and have the usb stick send me your contact details and I can send it too you on wattsapp or Facebook etc

@@Ezanity hi do you think you can help me with my usb stick? i think some how ive gotten it to only work with the Chinese version of wellprint! like a currapt version, where the launge dosnt really load it has 0's instead of writing! when i load the working version of wellprint the printer dosnt get found! but when i switch back to the currapted verison of wellprint it works andconnects to printer! but i cant read the wellprint software because its not a good verison! hope that was clear!
