At 5:08 the long loop of the survival kit lanyard is shown on top of the girt end fitting, with the short loop through the trigger. Beginning at 7:38 the long loop of the survival kit lanyard is routed through the girt bar trigger.

Better dont connect the grid bar until you install the escape slide, after installing the escape slide lash the grid bar and connect the grid bar

Does B737-800 have electrical operation of slide or manual handle only???

I have never touched airbus . . Just 737s this is more complicated than it needs to be 2 screws and a lolipop
