Better.. existing speakers balance was adjusted from radio . More power to front door mids

Just a fyi mate you actually don’t need to use a line out converter the amp itself already has speaker level input instead of rca you can use either

Just tap into one of the speaker wires and run it to the box

@@TheoHyatt On the instructions manual it shows two pairs of speaker wires going into the sub (by cutting off the RCA connectors), why would the sub need two pairs of speaker wires going - wouldn't one pair of speaker wires be enough, It not like the sub runs in stereo - it's mono right?

Nah.. connect the remote wire to the ignition fuse .. so it comes on wen ignition is on

I have this ....pioneer 1210 In my mpv.... Set to 40 Hz .. Nice and low Bass volume on 8 .. I hits ....nice ... Sounds clear Well i have Focal 5#7 inch On the doors... This single sub in the back Goes hard .... Well better than factory bs Anyway 😊

did you have to put a fuse between the power cord from the car battery to the connection in the amp?

It’s recommended but you can run it without the fuse , just know that if there’s a shortage in the circuit your amp will burn ( damage)

Always run a fuse after the battery no more than a foot (12”) at-least a 40 amp

The battery was in the back of the car , so I connected the ground on the negative side of the battery .

This car has the battery in the back .. so it was a easy install .. it’s the same wiring.. just that the box I installed with the inverter.. just run the power wire to your amp and the inverter with the rca to the amp.. it will work

Your gonna need a audio converter.. so you can tap into door speaker wire .. and a power and ground wire .. plus a remote wire from ignition fuse to amp

I bought new one from amazon, it came dead, wired everything like on paper and nothing. Power led never lit, wire from battery was giving 12v, ground to the car bolt, blue remote wire to 12v antenna from head unit(tried direct to battery as well after) and nothing, not a flicker in led. Very disappointed, as was excited to get some bass from Pioneer… Refunded, now looking for another one, would try this again, pretty sure does the job, but quite worried if same sh&t happens.

The small wiring harness comes Color coded , it will tell wat wire is speaker , remote , ground and power

Nah… only if it’s a aftermarket head unit.. but the stock head unit doesn’t come with rca outputs.. and it’s easier to wire the system with line output converter..especially if your financing the car too .. no screwing touching of the deck
