Installed a HUGE air intake on my Escalade V but was it worth it? Also LARGE engine purchase!

I would say for a no tune intake its probably worth it! Its also currently the only option out right now for the V

I have the exact same CAI on my 19 GMC Denali 6.2L and it made a world of difference. The biggest issue you have is the cooling fans all stuffed in the way. There's loads of room in front of the radiator, maybe place the fans ahead of the radiator for a pusher system over puller, then you should have enough room to run a much larger tube for that monster air filter. Honestly, that thing is HUGE. Beautiful ride though, would love to have one of those someday. Maybe see if that ZZ632 would fit under there..... 🤔

All depends on where it draws air from. My truck drew from the inner fender, with the liners it basically drew from that via the "director" it had in front of the wheel. So pulling inner fender heat, tire heat, road heat... and ambient engine bay heat. 3D printed a Ram style air intake to start by the grill and attached to the front of the OEM box (where the stock "horn" went to the inner fender). Today my AIT was reading about 65... when it was 58 out this morning.

Hey i just installed my s&b intake and since i blow out black smoke, and doesnt run like it used to. i reset by disconnecting battery for bout 4 hours and still doesnt move like it did with stock intake. no tune and cai is the only aftermarket part. any idea of whats goin on? Thanks
