Used Radar 245/75 R16 M/T. Now using MRF Wanderer 245/75 R16 A/T for commuting on Highways. Little ballooning (bulging) is there. Grip is good. High sidewall enables faster negotiation of speed breakers without scraping the guard plate below. Not every mechanic knows how to maintain correct wheel alignment parameters of Gurkha viz. caster, camber. Hence, with hard braking my vehicle used to veer to left. After proper alignment steering has become soft, mileage also improved. Jai Hind...

Bro you have selected MT tyres instead you should have gone with AT tyres. The threadwear of MT tyres go out easily while driving on normal roads and also the grip of the tyres is less on normal roads due to larger tyre blocks. Going with AT tyres was going to be much more better option instead due to high grip with low rolling resistance on all road terrains.

I use the same tyre in off-road. What i have observed that tyres are greatbut sidewalls are weak of appolo at2 i have also faced this issue but at that price its literally the best untill u do not hit ur sidewall.!

Thar with ARC suspension mod and good AT tyres will be good for the Himalayas. If you're travelling in sub zero temperatures, make sure to use properly rated engine oil and coolant.
