To be honest, I didn't think the Scorpio N could complete the whole course with such ease but it was a pleasant surprise. The one I am disappointed about is the Compass Trailhawk. Dude that's been marketed as the off-road version of compass and that's the best it can do? Anyway, a big thumbs up for Mahindra.

The Gurkha is the most complete offroad suv due to presence of diff locks and that too at kinda affordable price but it's ground clearance limits it, all it needs is a liftkit. The scorpio N is something I'd love to own but sadly my father bought a new car before the N and now it will be only after 5 or 7 years that we might buy another car and then I'd still look to the N. The most mature Scorpio.

The real winner for me is the Scorpio N. Didn’t expect so much brawl after seeing Jeep siblings struggle and Thar get technical on the 1st obstacle. Atta Boy, Mahindra Scorpio! 👏 Tata, a lesson here. Get a 4*4 version of Safari.

Till 12:18 or Obstacle 1, under the ₹80 lacs price bracket, Rubicon did the best whereas under ₹30 lacs, I'd go for Gurkha & Scorpio N. I'm seriously disappointed for the performance of Compass.

Don't forget to air down your 4wd tyres. AWD and 4WD are totally different drive train. Many Indian including many who can actually afford a good modern 4wd like Toyota Hilux, ISUZU D-max, Toyota fortuner etc.. Don't know the difference between 4wd and Awd.

Conclusion of the video -Thar and scorpio-n are blood brothers without a doubt!, The jeep compass trailhawk is a waste of money, the Gurkha, Wrangler, Thar and defender breathe off-road-ing and a bit of a bad luck for the fortuner as the rear diff was not engaging. 👍 Great video ❤️

Best autocar video till date. Wrangler and defender are extremely capable - no surprise there. Jeep compass and meridian - not at all capable for extreme off roading which was quite expected. Most VFM is thar and Scorpio - great performance. Fortuner unable to do all the challenge was damn disappointing. All in all thar is the pick for me in budget. And Rubicon/defender is the best if you have stacks of money lying around.

I think, when you applied offroad tyres to all vehicles they can perform very well in all terrain and all test passed by each vehicles. Stock tyres badly affect the vehicles performance very much
