Wheel spacers are fine as long as they are hubcentric , have extended lug nuts , and are checked after first 100 miles or so , Your car looks 🔥

I bought 25mm spacers for my 370z but the spacers don’t fit I think the bore is different think I can grind it make it wider?
@HustleGarageTV

The Nissan bore is a 66.1 bore I’m pretty sure. No do not grind it wider! Buy the correct ones

this would be illegal in the UK, as the wheels extent further than the arches. 20mm would be better
@HustleGarageTV
@HustleGarageTV 3 жыл бұрын
Once they settle in, the wheels are actually inside the arches. Hop on our Instagram to see, it’s like flush and looks good hahaha

How far out did the spacer stick out over the oem studs? I’m interested in doing the same ones but 20mm all around but I’ve heard someone who had to cut the oem studs down a bit so they’d sit flush with the spacer
@HustleGarageTV
@HustleGarageTV 6 жыл бұрын
ProDrift 86 the oem studs fit flush with the spacers. No extra work or fabrication needed 😊
@Prodrift7

Project VQ thanks for the reply! Were your 25mm just right or do you think 20mm ones would sit flush too?
@HustleGarageTV
@HustleGarageTV 6 жыл бұрын
ProDrift 86 25mm sits really flush, with some lowering, natural camber would tuck them perfectly inside. 20mm spacers would have around a 5mm gap inside the guards. 20mm fills the fronts perfectly.

Hey! I've got some photos on my instagram (gizelle_z34) if you wanna check it out for some photos. 25mm fits perfect in the rear with a little tuck in the guards, 20mm fits perfectly in the fronts.

Thank you soo much bro, I've checked you Insta but couldn't find much clear photos. Actually I don't want the tire flush more than the fender cut! I need accurate offset for front and rear.. as I can see in this Video the rear Tire is little flushing out but its not clear here so really confuse in 25 and 20mm.. :(

@HustleGarageTV
@HustleGarageTV 3 жыл бұрын
Oooo that’s hard, it’s depends on what flush offset is for the maxima. Measure the gap between wheel and the fender and that measurement is what size spacer will fill the guards

worst thing you can do to your car if you drive aggressively. but hey its your car if you cant tell it drives like shit with spacers
@HustleGarageTV
@HustleGarageTV 3 жыл бұрын
Mmmm it has been fine, slip on spacers will kill you. Hubcentric spacers are safe, heaps of my friends drift cars and track cars use them and they get beaten the shit out of and they're fine. Just buy proper reputable ones, install them properly and you'll be fine.

I highly recommend that you do not use those. That's a disaster waiting to happen for you. Those put a insane amount of strain on your suspension components and especially on your wheel hub bearings. DO NOT USE THOSEZ!!
@HustleGarageTV

Joe Jones thanks ! Have heard stories and have stories of my own about spacers. Spacers should only be a temporary thing, as my plans are with these :)
@Mazda3z
@Mazda3z 6 жыл бұрын
Joe Jones h&r hubcentric spacers shouldnt cause a problem unless you install them incorrectly and torque to spec. Also checking the lugs the first 100 miles on installing
@joejones6968
@joejones6968 6 жыл бұрын
uh-huh, how about simply not using them, Avoiding a potential disaster in the making, Those were not originally installed onto the car for a reason, That reason is, Is that it severely alters the geometry of the suspension, and creates a great deal of strain on the wheel bearing assembly.There are several videos on you tube showing you what happens when you install these terrible devices onto your motor vehicle.

Joe... With all due respect, I think you are overreacting a bit. I've run spacers on cars for years and have not had any issues. Are there risks for increased suspension wear? Perhaps, but that's the price you pay for modifications. Don't sweat it.
