Tires made the Taco look so much better. I like the wheels the way they are.

I want to do this... but what did you do for the spare tire? Forums say there isn't enough space underneath to fit an equivalent diameter spare

Hey man wondering what tire size was the stock tire. Then how much was the labor you paid to have them installed.

@sunnydelight4991 looks like a street tire, to me, not that aggressive of tread a ko2 or wild peak would look better.

I’m glad that I bought my 23 TRD Off Road, double cab with the premium and technology pkgs and a 6’ bed. The MSRP was $51,848. I paid $48K. To replace it with a 24 would cost $67K. I don’t know of anyone whose income has increased by $20K this year. I purposefully bought a 23 with the proven, durable and reliable 3.5L Naturally Aspirated V6. Historically a Turbo engine simply doesn’t last as long as a N/A engine. We normally keep our vehicles for 15-20 years or 250K to 300K miles.

To replace it would cost $53k...

@@sierraenvy No, I’ve already priced it out. A SR5, double cab 4WD, the MSRP is over $49K. Mine is a TRD Off Road, double cab, long bed, with the premium and technology pkgs, a Tri-Fold tonneau cover, running boards and blacked out edition.

@@Doc1855 Okay, you added a few accessories that increased the price a bit. I'm not trying to justify the price because there is an increase, but you're overstating it. Keep in mind the premium package now self-contains all available tech i.e. no such thing nor need for technology package anymore TRD Off Road premium package w/ black emblem overlays, black tailgate inlay, running boards + long bed: $55,082 OEM trifold tonneau cover: $1399 (equivalent aftermarket can be had for ~$800-1000) Total (US pricing): $56,481 Very expensive, no doubt. But still $11k less than what you quoted

toyota has always and WILL always put the cheapest most inappropriate tires on their trucks. If its round and black and holds air, thats what they put on the truck. Seriously. They have been cheaping out on the tires since I sold trucks back in 1989 when you got BIAS PLY tires on the base model. On the 2nd gen they always. put the Dunlop Gran Trek tires which as soft as butter and usually worn out in 20K miles
