Value will drop on any vehicle when there is a lot of them out there. It’s called supply and demand. Take out the supply and they will be buying back the new 2024 Tacoma’s for more to refill their used car lots.

The main reason is that people just aren't buying trucks right now. Dealerships around me are giving 5k-9k off msrp before you even step foot into the dealerships.

I’m single and hate my ‘17 Tacoma. I’m 6’ 3” and it’s a truck for a tiny person. It has zero power and really bad mpg. It’s uncomfortable and the worst manual transmission on any vehicle that I’ve driven. I’ve owned 7 manuals in my life.

I get 5.5L/100km in my 2008 Opel Corsa D that i bought three weeks ago with 182k km on the clock. Haven't yet ran the tank from full to empty, but when I get it into the red it has already done about 600km. Costs me about 64€ for that (about 33 litres of petrol).I dont get why Americans always want to buy massive trucks that are just so fuel inefficient and cost so much to run.

Thanks for the honest video. I took a gamble and bought a 2023 gen3 Trail Edition new, before the gen4 was out. Glad I did. Essentially its an SR5 with some 4x4 goodies, lift, rear locker, heated seats thrown in. I took a look at a base gen4 while I was in for service and that vehicle had so many less features. No power seats, dual climate control gone, materials and plastic not as nice. Ill be keeping my Gen3 till the wheels fall off.

The biggest reason why I don’t like the new 4 gen Tacoma is they discontinued the extended cab with a manual transmission on any of the Toyota trims it’s me, or I’m just old school but you do have a point the previous 3 gen tacoma is a lot better than the new 4 gen overpriced less features than the previous generation

Although “cold” air intakes don’t add noticeable hp, they absolutely improve throttle response and are worth spending the few extra bucks. Had one on every vehicle in the past and about to order one for my new Tacoma.

When i see a '24 Tacoma on the road , i say to myself , there goes someone got ripped off on paying $50K plus for a truck with a 4 cylinder engine. Those Tacos should be priced no more than $38k for a midsized truck. Toyota puts the V6 back in those Tacos They'll sell like Hot cakes. I'll keep my Gen 2 with a bullet proof V6 engine.

When I see someone in a '24 Tacoma I think to myself, wow what an awesome looking truck I bet they worked hard to deserve something like that. The full list of improvements in a 4th gen from a third gen is huge, and the engine performance demolishes the older gens whether we like to hear it or not. And we are silly to automatically assume the 4th gens wont last as long especially with it only being out for a year. I'm going to take the word from engineers who've spent their lives going to school to figure out how to build vehicles over someone in a KZbin video voicing their opinion.

Why did you realize 7months later? Everybody told you earlier! Ture reason for this 4th gen KZbinrs going back to old-school, it might be viewer numbers continue dropping. People not interested 4th gen anymore and other KZbinrs buying old one and modify they get more viewers. More viewers = More money.

Thanks for the video. I’ve got a 3rd gen Tacoma and always looked forward to what mod you were doing next on your past 3rd gen trucks . Unfortunately for the money Toyota wants for this new gen vs what you get for that price doesn’t justify the cost. Come back to the 3rd gen V6🤙.. good luck
