Installing a 1 1/4" sand point well 27' feet down. Part one. Using jack hammer.

Last summer I started digging a well and never finished it. here I borrowed buddies jackhammer to push pipe 15 feet down below the previously installed casing. Hit water at 15 feet and got 9 feet of water in the pipe.

Jackhammer is the way to go. I’ll never understand people doing it by hand. My shoulders just couldn’t do it.

Your casing is down 15' and you drove the well point down to 23'? Also didn't quite understand how you put the casing down and why not further?

Our galvanized pipe rots out or plugs up quick with our water.

@@ParttimePilgrim I borrowed the attachment from a friend. Let me reach out to him and see if it was fabricated vs bought. I see a couple rental companies have them, but there must be a company who still sells these out there.
