From the meter pole to the subpanel in the house did you only run 3 4/0 aluminum wires? And is a ground rod at the main meter pole enough? Or do i need one at the subpanel too?

@@pilotoblackbird433 We ran 4 total wires the 2 Hots were 4/0 aluminum & the neutral was 2/0 aluminum. We installed our ground rod at the meter pole, I don’t believe you need one at the sub panel when you have one at the Main meter pole!👍🏽

@@BeardGawd88 We typically use PVC for underground jobs. It’s a little cheaper then emt, more flexible & and little better with weather conditions.

@@garyhicks5630 Honestly I would have to go back and look at pictures from when we did the job, I believe it was a 200amp service & we used 4/0 aluminum. I’ll check it out & let you know!
