Hi , that's a fat cap 💪 didn't see you secure it to the floor of that cubby hole. Last thing you want is that cap moving around and working the terminals loose. A short on that thing could burn your van down.

Capacitors will drain batteries over night. Capacitors will start to charge itself everytime u open the doors. It would be useful if they have remote control or a simple switch.

New age caps like this has REM terminal. If you can get a cap with only two terminals, then that would be better. Good luck in finding capacitors like that.

These new car audio caps are now "smart", they don't need charging because they get charge instantly when turned on via the third wire.

Just daisy chain the REM wire from headunit to cap and to amplifier. Very easy.

si no cargaste previamente el capacitor, el mismo funcionará como un corto circuito para tu batería y cableado. se tiene que cargar con una resistencia o circuito para cargarlo si no caga con esa resistencia entonces tú capacitor es defectuoso

Properly sized wiring don't get hot. Just be sure to ground properly.

Keith Branch those caps are to deliver a different voltage rate, they are not long term storage capacitors. That’s when batteries come in play
