Replacing the electrical box in my kitchen with a proper fan grade one.

nice job. how would one install an industrial ceiling fan in a regular home though? would you use a regular ceiling fan box?

I would use a regular box.

Industrial ones still use a regular fan-rated box, the only difference to the mounting is that they use a J-hook mounted to the box instead of a bracket
