Thanks for the video! :-) It helped a lot. But you did'nt need to drill with the 4 mm in the arms, since the screws are self tapping. Just screw them in, and they drills through by themselves. Another thing, it depends on the tub if you should put in the longest ot shortest end of the bends into the middle part. My tub is smaller, so I had to do the opposite of what you did.

Great video, helped me get mine installed and didn't have to put any thinking into it! The instructions that came with mine, although using English words, didn't appear to be written by someone who knew how to speak english or who had ever actually put this thing together. It was nonsensical

I used your exact measurements on a bit smaller tub and butchered it. The top bar extends to far over the center of the cover...by nine inches. I could cut the poles I guess. Also when the cover is in stowed position it will be cantered towards the hot tub. Completely botched. Cheers mate.

Great help. Ive got the same tub coming in a couple weeks. Ive just had a new patio layed and they have put a fall on it for water drain off.How far out of level is your tub mate?

Its out of level by about an inch front to back but that more for the run off for the patio.

Not had to take it off, but it should be no problem to unscrew the bracket if I did need to remove it

This might be a daft question but I am curious... the screws at the bottom of the brackets, is there a gap the tub frame? My first thought is drop it a cm or 2 to fix it to the panel. I fitted mine much lower which it still works, I didn't want to have the back high up in case my kids leaned on it. I wish this video was out much earlier.

Hi, great video, my lifter (same as yours arrived this morning) couple of questions - does it matter which panel/side of hot tub you fit the lifter to ? And did you drill a pilot hole for the bracket screws first ? Or just straight into the panel with the screw - if that makes sense. Thanks.

You should be fine fitting it to any side of the Hot Tub, so that you can have the tub facing whichever way you want depending on the seating. And no, no pilot holes for the brackets onto the side panels (pilot hols when you are putting the self tappers in on the poles though 👍)

Hi, just been out and looked at the tub. I would say that the positioning of the brackets will remain the same, any adjustment for the size of the Tub is in the poles. Hope that helps
