Good idea, thanks for sharing. U can also buy a Dorman 65241, & u don't have to weld it, but should use some locktite & good RTV sealer. - take care

Should always make your welds pretty if you can weld,will show you care about quality

Yes if you working for customers sure. But personal vehicles especially for something you will barely even look at, if it works it works
