I did consider this focuser motor for my new Quattro 6" but was really impressed with QHY's version with the clutch that allows you to rotate the focuser without loosening the focuser motor. But I am looking for a replacement for my old EAF with the 12v power and I like to Pegasus Astro's stuff, I have two rotators, and three powerboxes! Thanks for the tutorial, it looks pretty easy to install. Will be curious to see how it performs in actual focus routines. CS and welcome back!

I have the FC v2 and have been happy with it. Upgrade features are nice but not enough for me to change it. BTW. Glad your intro music has changed! Much more space / ethereal than the previous one. 😀

I'm mechanically challenged lol, but even I think I could mount this. I have some other Pegasus items and they make good products. I plan on getting some other OTA shortly so I just might give this a try. Thanks for the concise and well-done video, Shawn.

haha, ya I'm not that mechanically inclined either. Not to difficult to do though.

Seems OK. Hand controller extra a bit pricey. Thanks.

Looks great! Is this a freebie, or are you reviewing it? Loved the interview with the Pegasus guy the other day…

It was sent to me for free. They wanted me to test it and review. Pegasus Astro had no conditions. I could review it good or bad.

Looks simple enough. Are there any other noticeable advantages of the Cube 3 versus Cube2 other than the USB C supplying power and data? One less cable is always a good thing. - Patrick -

The two advantages for the FC3 is the USB C and the wifi/hotspot and Alpaca ability.
