Mike shows us how quick and easy it is to install a Frankenstein Old School Trike Kit from Frankenstein Trikes!
Unlike many other trike kits, our Frankenstein Old School Trike Kit is BOLT ON! Other trike kits may require you to make sure the rear axle is centered with the bike, make sure the drive chain or belt is aligned properly, and also require you to weld it in place without any instructions.

Once we get our hands on the DNA rear axle, it is disassembled to its individual components and inspected, but we don’t stop there.
The axle tubes are separated from the differential housing halves and we remove the original mounting brackets and install our own patent pending mounting brackets, which we weld in place.
During reassembly the axle tubes are pinned to their respective differential half. Next the axle housing is coated in an industrial rated paint for long life.
After the paint dries, we install a new grease fitting in the differential, grease the differential, and reinstall the brake rotors and calipers using our new brake caliper brackets, which also pull double duty as the mounts for the fender brackets.
The rear axle and swing arm kit comes with: one modified rear axle assembly, one swing arm specific to your bike, the required axle to swing arm mounting hardware and blue Loctite, all necessary brake fittings and hoses, pre-greased differential with upgraded grease fitting, and one tube of bearing grease for lubing the axle bearings before riding.
Ultimately, we felt it needed more, so we are including ten M12x1.5 conical seat lug bolts, and a set of fender brackets!
*Fenders, wheels/tires, and fender bracket mounting hardware not included.
