Can’t wait to see more on this build, these muscle skis where so much fun. New age people ask for a high horse power Spark well just get one of these RXP-X they are about the same size and you can grab 300hp out of the old 4tecs pretty easily these days.

Exactly! These old fiberglass hulls will also take much more abuse than a plastic spark hull. This build will make way more than 300 HP 😉

Great job Greg, ole girl is coming long great from the looks of it. Fuel tech will be a great addition to the ski! Truly enjoyed the content. Thanks for sharing. Billy D

It’ll definitely make this old ski more enjoyable than what it already is. I can’t wait to get some ride time on it

Which fuel tech system will be good for a turbo setup on a 06 RXP. Ft450 or the ft550. What o2 sensors connect to the fuel tech system?

Either one would work. The FT450 is the same ECU and dash but with limited inputs and outputs. It has enough inputs and outputs to run the engine. If you want to add multiple sensors or use it as a boost controller for a turbo the the FT550 will be the way to go. I am using the FuelTech WB-O2 Nano with a Bosch LSU 4.2 O2 sensor. FuelTech also has a Nano Pro version that is more advanced and can utilize better O2 sensors. The FuelTech O2 conditioners communicate with the ECU on their CAN network so it does not use up any inputs. It is a fantastic system

Can this be done on the 05 and older skis as well? I'd like to see this on an older turbo engine. Also, does it have a base "auto-tune" function using the O2 sensor and other parameters for setting itself up like the Motec.

You can use it on any Siemens ECU Sea-Doo. It would be a fantastic ECU for a turbo ski. You can set your desired AFR at a given boost level and RPM and the O2 closed loop feature will keep it there. You can then use the closed loop O2 correction to refine the fuel map.

Thanks Greg. What FuelTech products are needed to interface?
@GreenHulkGarage Жыл бұрын
All that is needed is a FT450, harness, and igniter. You are limited with the FT450 so I would definitely consider upgraded to a FT550 to have more inputs and outputs. I’d also add a WB-O2 Nano to monitor and datalog AFR through the ECU. You can find all of the products in our store here: www.4-tecperformance.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=547
