Great video... what do you think of the RXT-X 325 vs the FX SVHO. Mostly flat water riding (lake) and more of a cruiser with multiple riders. I love the Yammy reliability but torn between the 2 ca.hoices. Currently have 18' RTX 300 and Yam GP1800R so deciding between another RTX or going all Yamaha.

Greg, what do you think about installing a 325 intake manifold on a 300 with a calas and spinning 9000 rpm? Any benefits? Obviously, there's an advantage if seadoo changed the design.

Not the fastest but definitely the best for long rides and stuff. 55 on the water is still pretty fast. Loving this ski. Hey brother how’s the gps? I’m new to riding skis but I want to go from Long Island to queens on rides, it gives you accurate water ways to take? Depth finder too?

Pros and cons like any thing. What is the cost and labour to go to the unit? As a Yamaha tech my self we see lots of Sleeve failures some under 10 hours the stainless sleeve spinning in the plastic sleeve. also the impeller to sleeve clearance on some seem to be out of spec from out of the box.

I have a 24 gp svho. I have power filter kit, blow off valve, riva water box, 2 degree pump wedge and a catch can. Next I’m looking to upgrade the impeller, I’m trying to avoid tuning it due to warranty. Do I need to tune in order to upgrade the impeller?

@GreenHulkGarage yes, I think the SVHO and even the FX HO have more veins if I remember correctly. Would upgrading to that make any difference? I appreciate your help and response, Greg! You guys are awesome

Narrow is fun, but very unstable. Most of the riders nowadays are looking for a more stable craft. I would love a resurrection of the original blaster, but I doubt it will every happen.

Man remember all those videos for years of Yamhaw bashing(literally) the Spark because it was “plastic”….. Guess if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. It’s still too heavy and holds way more fuel than it needs way up in the nose which is exactly where you don’t won’t weight when stuntin. Maybe a ski that is actually directly aimed at the Spark will make Sea Doo finally give us the hot rod Spark we been wanting since 2014.

@@GreenHulkGarage interesting they seem to be getting away from it, I consider that a move in the right direction. Weight makes a big difference but living with it I think the traditional fiberglass is much easier and worry free comparatively
