Installing a memory foam mattress in a RoadTrek 190V

I removed the Roadtrek 190V dinette/rear bed cushions and the memory foam topper and replaced them with an 8" Zinus memory foam mattress. I made a few cuts to get it to fit just right. It wasn't a terribly difficult project.

Update on Comfort: After a better part of the summer, this is definitely more comfortable than the original cushions!

We have a 190 Popular. Husband made the twin beds into futons, by buying the futon ends (metal) and custom built the couch/bed to fit. So we can just flip them up into bench seats and click once to put down to beds! Works great! Beds stay made with sheets and blankets. We just went to ROLEF SOLUTIONS yesterday in Montreal Canada. They make custom screens and blackout combinations for back and side door and windows. Amazing quality. Use noseems screens. So you can open to get to ‘basement’ without letting bugs in. And side door is really well designed. We even got a blackout cover for the ceiling fan. Highly recommend you check them out.

Agreed. We use the little table up front if we ever bother to set up a table.

Looks good! We replaced an original mattress in our travel trailer last spring with a similar mattress to yours. It was a big improvement. For our 1996C210P, we opted for heated mattress pads on the two twin setup of our Roadtrek.

Very nice production quality. That must have taken quite a while to do with all of the different camera angles! Next time that you cut a memory foam mattress, try using an electric carving knife. Works fantastically. Subscribed.

Thanks, Ed! I think finding an electric carving knife might be more difficult than finding the right type of mattress! ;-)
