Drop the winch so the bow-eye locks up under the bow roller

If you do that you probably will come off bottom rollers as it has further to go to hit bow stop roller

@@jessejarmuzek4752 no it won’t. All you need to do is lower the winch mount down the winch post. As it is in the video, the boat can slide forward in an emergency stop

@@halfazzhandy8638 thanks. Great video. I bought a small bass tender fishing boat last year with a trailer but it doesn't have a post or anything. I am going to put one on the trailer this year so that I can put the boat in and out of farm ponds by myself. I have a winch on my Kubota that I pull it with that I can pull it up out of pond with but it is on the front of my Kubota so I can't pull it up on the trailer. I obviously don't need a very big one for a 10ft "bass tender" but hate not being able to use the boat when my hubby is at work. Now that I saw your video I know how to put it on when I get one!
