A little retaining wall could help that corner or even some smaller boulders to help that grade Over mulching is such an issue in a lot of beds people don’t realize how it adds up and also hurts the plants Great video

Yes I fully agree with that. This is a new place for us, we removed ALOT of old mulch before we put new mulch down this year, haven’t had any issues. We always remove our edgings and rake out the beds before installing new mulch anywhere. To avoid mulch volcanos and mounding. Thank you for watching!

We did a drip edge on our house just the same with weed Matt under the stone snd it took only a couple times of weed whacking and then the grass started to grow in the rocks!! That was a pain in the you know what!! So never doing this idea again!!! 😅

Was grass and such being thrown and blown into the drip edge from weed whacking? If so you can go around with a leaf blower after mowing and blow it out. As well as try to avoid getting debris in the drip edge. In early Spring you can also shake in Preen in the stones to keep any unwanted weeds down. Seems to do a good job.
