Installing a New Stone Walkway + Amending the Soil for a New Flowerbed | Gardening with Wyse Guide

This is an exciting day! I'm installing a new walkway and flowerbed along the side of my home where there were never any plants. The first step in doing so is this beautiful limestone-edged pathway filled with gravel. To get the soil ready for the plants (coming in the next video), I amended the soil with compost and fertilizer. Enjoy!

I agree! Those statue busts are very intetesting! Is there a history or story behind them? (One of them reminded me of the likeness of Esmeralda from the Hunchback of Norte Dame).

Caleb, it’s all looking wonderful and I can’t wait to see the beds when they’re all finished! One question - will it be difficult to keep the limestone gravel in place on the path? I have a vision of you having to sweep the gravel back onto the path due to foot traffic disturbing it. Or, is it sealed somehow to prevent that from happening? Just curious…
