Dude...I still did exactly what you warned about lmao. So I finally get the driver side wiper lined up properly. So I think I'm good. Put the other one on and it goes down into the engine and snaps the wiper off. I have no idea how to adjust the other side. I was assuming it equally line up lol so for now...I'm riding with one wiper

Ok so after that happened I revisited everything and I realized I had that bracket that boltd the arms in the middle together upside down lmao problem solved. Just need a new passenger wiper now lol

Thanks for this. My wipers suddenly stopped in a vertical rest position instead of horizontal but otherwise worked fine. Dealer wanted $700 to fix it, so I will go this route instead.

@@KRXBrandon yep, I just did the swap- bought the whole assembly at a 33% discount from a NE dealer- no one else has the part. Your directions made this an easy swap, and having the whole assembly, I just used the marks on the windshield to place the wipers, tighten, and no marking or reassembly alignment issues. Thanks again!

At the beginning of your video when you were about to disassemble the motor, the arm attaching to the motor was at the 3:00 o'clock position (05:32). You shouldn't need to mark anything, just put it back as it was when you made the video.

Thanks for the detailed video, this is perfect for my 2017 1500. Wipers aren’t returning to the park position when I turn them off, what were you experiencing? Dealer said code B2303-13 popped so it’s either a bad motor, BCM or both. BCM is located in an extremely difficult spot behind the driver side footwell. Hoping it’s a fault in the motor. Thanks again.

I don't think I ever took it to see if there was a code. I may have just gotten lucky! My wipers had gone intermittent and then had stopped. I figured I would give this a try and see if it worked and if not then take it to the dealer and let them bend me over :-)

@@KRXBrandon Mine don’t go intermittent either just normal speed and then just stop wherever on the glass when I turn them off. Hoping I have the same luck. Thanks for responding!

Hell of a video brother!!! The helpful things to watch out for was perfect!!! preciate the time taken to do this!!! Quick question though, Did the motor just stop working period? Mine were working perfectly and just quit. im gonna buy the new motor but when I open the cowl, im gonna TAP TAP TAP on it just to see if it just had a lil blockage LOL.

So i just bought a 2016 2 days ago from a dealer. The plastic clip (instead of a bolt) on the last mounting point for the linkage in broken and has been well before i got it, rubbing the passenger wiper against the edge of the hood. It was late in the day when i bought it and missed the gouging on the edge of hood. I dont know why they would have a piece of plastic holding linkage down against the body.

Looks like i have to replace the whole linkage. Its that same piece you showed. The earlier years have 3 bolts. '22s also have plastic. Im thinking of converting it over to an older version with 3 bolt if they are the same dimensions and length.
