Installing a PlaneWave DeltaRho 350 Telescope at ObsTech Observatory in Chile

Very impressive setup. That C11 Edge HD looks small in comparison. What function does the C11 serve that the 350 doesn't? Are you running the C11 at f/2 with a hyperstar or something?

Thanks for watching! The main scope is a 1,050mm DeltaRho 350, so the client wanted a longer focal length system in case they wanted to image planets. The C11 is a Barlow, so nice long FL!

I'm curious, do you polar align just like regular amateurs (ipolar, pole master, sharpcap, etc) or is there a professional way to polar align?

For the PlaneWave systems their software uses a pointing model to calculate polar alignment and then mechanical adjustments are made to the mounts. For alt/az telescopes polar alignment is not required.
