Damn! Missed the old bow tie truck! My favorite man! Got a hoss in it now! Tune it for shifts and bigger tires and high octane fuel. My 97 bow tie will burn all four wheels on 35” all terrains. My 327 pushes about 420 hp though. Regular cab.

My 78-year old mother has a fave truck. It's a 1998 Silverado Super cab, the one with suicide doors. It's 4x4 with a 6 or 8 inch lift kit. It's fully optioned and loaded. Bone stock, except for the giant dual Flowmasters. It makes a beautiful rumble sound. Also aftermarket bedliner. Powerplant is 350. No headers or cam, all stock, just the Flowmasters, which make it sound like it's got headers and a beefy cam..haha. Comical part: Mom is is short. She's only like 5 foot-one inch. To climb up in that truck, she uses a small aluminum 3-step ladder and it has running board/bars....lol. Once she's behind the wheel, she is Queen Of The Road. We use it as a daily driver and sometimes go have fun in the landfill, just to test the Silverado's limits. Little Mom, giant truck. Fun times? Oh yeah... Nice to see this Quady build! I'm liking it, man..

@@CrazyQuady You might be surprised with how outrageous even used truck prices are. I was looking up F-350's that weren't dually. Now granted a completely cherry 1997 4 door 8' bed 4wd with 7.3 bulletproof diesel and 119k mileage. $45,000 for a truck that came out around this time in 1996. It was slightly lifted on bigger tires with a camper top.

Awesome video I inherited 2010 Silverado from a friend with a dropped cylinder, it has 2 misfire codes and no oil pressure, so yea it's got alot of work, it has a 5.3 8 cylinder engine. The Toyota dealership wouldn't even take it for a trade. He ended up with 2024 Toyota Tundra with all the bells and whistle.
