Very good job, Glad to see that you younger guys are keeping the sport alive . Hot Rodding and street rods were a big part of my life, last one I did was Tom G's 31 Ford model A truck running a 351 and a TCI frame, wish I knew of you guys back then Tom ,I think scraped the early 1960s mods he and his brother did when they installed the Olds in 1960...you would have loved to talk to him let me tell yeah, it was an old Victoria based Hot Rod, so was the Bloody Mary custom........I sub , to your channel , great job ..........

@@LGKustoms I worked with Dave Winters , he was an old Hot Rodder , and a pin striper , low rider and custom car painter good guy, I worked on the T-Bucket that ran an Audrun conversion in it , that car when I worked on it was owned by a dock yard worker lived in Colwood area. There , Dave told me they made a -El-Camino , out of a wrecked Nomad 5 tri five back in the day , That car as far as I know was still around in the 1980s....All the best to you Love watching local guys building rods

I'd say a not so "quick change" - great work! What is that you're drinking? Is that what gives you your super fabrication powers? Kinda like Spinach is to Popeye? Cool little red rod at the end there.

@@LGKustoms Actually I was referring to what you were drinking in the video. You used a cheese chaser.

I bought a 29 REO from my uncle and its been fun trying to figure out the parts on it. He put a 9 inch in it and the wheel seal was leaking, and trying to figure out which one it was took along time as nothing was matching. Come to find out i was only a couple years in the 50s its a small bearing in a big ford sedan.

Doesn’t the chrome process mess with the spring tension 🧐 I remember hood springs breaking back in the day 🥹
@LGKustoms28 күн бұрын
I’m sure they’ve got it figured out now, or they wouldn’t sell chrome springs. These ones are coming from QA1.

Great neat and considered way of doing the changeover. Bit surprised you didn’t wrap up that polished centre section before welding etc though. 🫣
