Thank you for the video. They are fun to watch. But A 100 wat solar panel will give you a lot more power to the battery's. Now you can have the best of both worlds if you add solar.

Agreed... we have 150 w of solar now, but plan to upgrade when we go cruising... mostly looking for amps at night from the wind generator.

What type of batteries are you using? Lithium or other?
The location looks really dangerous, not high enough when you can reach it so easily. Don't forget to stop it by mooring and so on...

Very late to the party here, but no charge controller? Your set-up is considered "off grid," which means it's a closed system. Without a charge controller cutting off the charge (be it a wind generator or solar array) after the batteries are brought to full, you will most certainly fry your bank. The only time you don't need a charge controller are in "grid-tied" systems, where the extra energy is bled off to the grid. Hopefully I'm not too late here.
