Bought one the other month. That first piece you put on to slot tightly onto the rib flew off and hit me in the mouth yesterday under recoil, and the rest of the mount warped somewhat. Make sure you're wearing eye protection when you use it!

I would prefer a rib mount over any other mount for a shotgun. These are great!!

It worked well for me all year. Took a great gobbler with it this season as well. I’ll probably try it for rifled slugs as well this fall.

@@Leehealy-wheninthewoods I had a picatinny rail and a tube green dot, but I had issues with my gun. I changed to a 20 gauge with tss, and I changed to a set up like this for 2024 and never had an issue on the four I got traveling around. It held zero; it was never difficult to see my target; it works great for me, too. I don’t plan on ever shooting anything else.

@burkejones8277 keeping the sight mounted to the rail definitely keeps it inline with the shooting axis. No barrel rotation as sometimes happens with shotgun barrels.

@@burkejones8277 loosen your lock nut in the magazine tube just a little and twist the barrel back and forth. You’ll feel the barrel rocking in the receiver just a little bit.

I'm glad I found this product! I wanted my red dot further out. This is ideal. BTW, Wheeler make another kit that works ideal with the Fat Wrench torque wrench. Always best to torque all screws to the same amount and eleimante the quess work. Otherwise, great video!

@@barryhallsted I have a wheeler wrench actually but unfortunately not the right size bit. Definitely something to add! After turkey season I removed the mount until next year. It did very well!
