Scott we just tested there standard remote with the tiny black antenna on our line pumps. Pump was inside the dual lined steel building doors closed. i walked down the street a block 300'+ feet and never lost connection with the standard remote from aarocomm. best remote ever others we tried would get out the door and drop out

100% hands down the best line-pump remote control on the market (or at least that I’m aware of). We’ve been using them 8+ years on our rigs and they’ve been near flawless 👌👌👌

When people ask me about the distance the remote will reach. I tell them it by far exceeds the amount of hose I’m willing to lay out.

Caught that in one your most recent video!!! Same as you, we don’t typically need a remote that works 1500’ away from the pump, but it sure is nice having one which still works 300’ from the pump when we are 3-4 levels down inside of a parkade pumping block-fill walls (which is absolutely terrible work I might add) 😂😂😂.

We typically say 1000+ ft or 300 m but we could add that too!!

I have a question for you Scott or Dan will this be the all-in cure to remotes now will this relieve the stress of operators this being a wireless remote and being able to go wherever you want with it pretty much on the job site or can go with it wherever is this going to finally put the end to everything else

With a high rise pump like this, it actually doesn’t make too much of a difference as the operator is pretty much stationed at the back of the hopper throughout the duration of the pour anyhow. Where it does come in handy is for times when the operator is tending to a potential issue in the pipeline and can forward/reverse pumping pressure remotely. Dann I believe uses this pump occasionally for conventional line-pumping work as well. Having the wireless is a huge benefit for that type of work. If you follow Jeff over at Muddy Feet you’ll see how much it has evolved what he’s able to do in terms of efficiency with his trailer pump.

Why did you sell the truck? Seem like a good pump truck....

High-rise work is very cyclical for us. It had been sitting around for 6 months and funds at the time were better allocated in other areas. Our 39Z has been nice as it has a similar high-pressure pump kit, but can still be utilized for more conventional work when we’re in between high rise projects. The first time we sold this 2110 we actually traded it back in to Putz on our 39Z.

have you got your trailer pump back scott
@canadianconcretepumper19794 ай бұрын
We sure did! It’s actually a TK60HP which mounts directly onto the Isuzu truck which we were using to tow the Putz 1005 trailer pump. I LOVED how that 1005 pumped concrete, but the separate trailer arrangement was just not practical for what we do in our market here.

yeah not a fan of trailers pumps most of our pumps in aus are trucked mounted ian would be happy that its back @@canadianconcretepumper1979

Love these more compact remotes for line-pumping. Not as much of a benefit on a high-rise rig like this where the op is typically stationed at the back of the pump for the duration of the pour, but on a more conventional pour where the operator is more involved in the moving/dragging of hose, they are much more user-friendly. I never cared for that big HBC clunker which comes standard with the pump. Was nice having the lcd screen for real time information though.
