Installing an OEM Walbro HD12 Carburetor on a Farmertec Holzfforma G372 XP. Running rough? Any Good?

@@Bearbait01the carb still isn’t dialed in at the end of the video. It’s too sluggish on the low end when you hit the throttle and the high end is in and out of 4 stroking. I would be happy to help you get it dialed in if you need some help. I build these saws and have a lot of experience working on them and tuning carbs. I think you were making the opposite adjustment every time that you were trying to make. When the high jet was too rich and it was 4 stroking horribly, when you went to adjust it you turned counterclockwise which gives it even more fuel. It started bogging and died because then it was way too rich and choking. Believe me, in the beginning we were all there and ready to pull our hair out until we got it figured out. Maybe I think it's just that the Chinese carb is junk tho. Whole saw is junk honestly but it's something to do

@@Bearbait01 yeah the best thing they are good for is working on them not working with them. I have 2 neo tech ones 372 and the little 543 clone. The 543 seems much better but the 372 is a real problem child. I had it running good finally so I put a dual port muffler on it and now it's behaving very similar to yours. Haha

@clintbliss2046 I have a neotec 25cc top handle and it's pretty good so far. No weird carb issues like this saw. Didn't even have to tune it.

@@Bearbait01 turned out the 372 needed a fuel filter. Some of them don't flow enough apparently. I have a new HD12 oem walbro ordered too.
