Ive been doing a build myself the solar goes in next week so excited! Only thing i kinda did different i wanted a server rack akso i was afraid to sleep in n the battries so my set uo is behind the drivers area but the bus is looking good. I only wish my KZbin vids were better your videos are way more comolex with angles and the edit.

Also im going with 48v for the big appliances 10kwh and secondary 12v system 600ah for my life line system as i call it fridge lights water pump water heater then im gonna divide up the 5 panels that will be in the bus 3 to 12v system 2 to the 12v system.

Is the ambient airflow in the battery/solar/electrical compartment enough with the inverter running a heavy load, or should there be extra ventilation/supplemental fans?

I’m curious, how do you keep the system from draining the bus batteries as you use power from the solar batteries? I had a small system set up kinda like this just not as advanced but it kept pulling from the bus batteries and made them go dead and then I couldn’t start the bus.

Good Christmas eve morning to all the DIY solar people. I'm trying to upgrade my solar electic system in my camper trailer I have just about all new parts like six new flexable (300watt) panels and two (100watt) older panels and a new Mppt 100-120 charge controller with bluetooth also my four batteries are hooked up in parallel and my solar panels are being hooked up in series to my charge controller so far I have with the six fexable panels I have just about 110 volts dc nothing is hooked up yet I'm trying to work on this upgade project as the weather allows. Is there any one in or around the Scranton pa area that does camper solar systems becouse solar house contactors don't want any think to do with my camper I could really use the help and I will be greatfull and pay for it.

When you say “b & b 712”, but DON’T tell us what that IS and what it DOES… kinda defeats the instructional value of the video. It didn’t have to be a 10 min explanation but a simple this is what it IS and this is what it DOES for all of us still trying to learn what components we may need for our setup.
