This is enclosed. It’s not as loud as an open box intake, but you get more direct flow with a closed box.

i Just did my side steps and rear bumper plastic and it looks like new. I would look into Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat Kit to restore that gray sun faded plastic and look better with your black truck. As far as the intake i got Aem and can barely hear anything. Hmm $300 could have been better spent elsewhere
