Installing and Using ArcDPS For World vs. World (Plus Suggested Windows)

Would love to understand the Squad DPS Out Advanced Stat window - I don't fully understand what's going on there. Or more generally: is there a way to show total squad DPS? Thanks!

The DPS Out stat window is showing you damage over time, so it's going to give you weird-looking numbers while you're in combat but not doing any damage. If you want to see total squad DPS, I think you can get this using "Area Graphs" under Windows (PvE) in the main ArcDPS window you get through via alt - shift - T. I'd check it myself, but the queue on EBG is crazy right now, I might try it later this weekend if you don't have a chance to.

I didn't know this myself, so I popped into their Discord to ask. "Squad combat stats" resets when anyone in your squad enters combat. "Player combat stats" reset when the player enters combat. In most cases, I think you'll want to use squad.

That's from Krappa's ArcDPS Healing Stats extension, here: github.com/Krappa322/arcdps_healing_stats. In a month or so I'll walk through the installation and configuration for that, and boon table, and know thy enemy (if it still is around). edit: one thing to note about the healing extension -- it only records other players' healing if they are ALSO using the extension. If you heal, but you don't have it installed, it doesn't get recorded.

Boon table will do that for you to see it in realtime: github.com/knoxfighter/GW2-ArcDPS-Boon-Table, and uploading logs generated by ArcDPS to dps.report will allow you to look at it after the fact as well. When we do the ArcDPS extensions video, we'll cover boon table, and I'd like to do a "using logs to improve at world vs. world" video at some point. Can't tell you when those will be just yet though. :)

I wouldnt disable npc/gadget from though, might be interesting, especially as a lead, to know if you crashed your squad because you slacked under siege

I'm away from any means to check this, traveling for work until Friday, but I believe that siege still shows up under incoming damage if you wanted to check this afterwards.
